The Business School Impact System (BSIS)
The Business School Impact System (BSIS) is designed to determine the scale of the impact made by a management school on its local environment. HEC Lausanne chose to take part in the assessment and was awarded the BSIS label after providing documentary evidence of its impact (notably in intellectual and economic terms) in the Lausanne region, the Canton of Vaud and Switzerland as a whole.
The BSIS process is reserved for schools that are members of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The label is a sign of international recognition for schools that see their impact as vital.
