Every year, HEC Lausanne makes available a research budget destined for funding empirical research projects of its doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and assistant professors.
The next call will open in Fall 2020.

IMI - Initiative for Media Innovation
Among many objectives, the Initiative for Media Innovation (IMI) aims also to "support the transformation of the media sector through scientific research".
Its latest call for projects focused on how the media manage the relationship with their audience.
Innossuisse is an instrument developed by the Swiss Confederation, which aims to promote science-based innovation in the interests of industry and society in Switzerland.

EPFL - CROSS
The Collaborative Research on Science and Society (CROSS) Programme encourages interdisciplinary projects that deal with current issues in society and technology, and that are carried out as a collaboration between researchers from EPFL and UNIL. This year's theme is mobility.

Dalle Molle Foundation
The Dalle Molle Foundation for Quality of Life awards the ‘Quality of Life’ prize to a current research project which has already been recognised by research support bodies, public institutions or private companies for its scientific quality. The foundation has a double aim: to encourage and promote research which allows people to benefit from science and technology and to improve quality of life.
Prize amount: CHF 10'000
The UEFA Research Grant Programme was created to support the work of researchers analysing European football from the perspective of a variety of academic disciplines.
Amount: up to 15'000 CHF for individual projects, up to 20'000 CHF for joint projects.
Swiss Network for International Studies (SNIS)
International Geneva Award - this award has been established to distinguish three academic articles that are are particularly relevant for International Organizations. The Award is a prestigious prize that encourages scientists to reach out to policy makers.
